Our company headquarters, warehouse and manufacturing facility are all located in Dallas, Texas.
Are you still connected to L'Oréal?
You may remember that Seed Phytonutrients was launched as an incubator brand within the L'Oréal group in 2018, but just after our second year, we were purchased by the family of our formulator, who have a long history of crafting formulas in the natural beauty industry, and for Seed Phytonutrients since the brand was only a concept. You could say we've returned to our roots!

How can I find out what ingredients are in my product?
Ingredient lists for each product can be found in the "Ingredients" tab on that product's page. Each ingredient is also listed and defined in the Ingredient Glossary.
Are your fragrances natural?
Yes! All of our fragrances are pure blends of all-natural essential oils and plant extracts.
Are your products or ingredients tested on animals?
Seed Phytonutrients products are proudly 100% cruelty free and certified by Leaping Bunny.
Are your products vegan?
All of our products are vegan with the exception of our Dry Patch Balm and Lip Balm, which contain beeswax.
Are your products gluten free?
Yes all of our products are formulated to be gluten free. However please note that we cannot guarantee allergen-free facilities nor the absence of trace, non-detectable levels, so we encourage those with allergies to consult a doctor prior to use.
Do your products contain parabens, gluten, sulfates, etc?
All of our products are paraben, gluten, and sulfate free. For a full list of ingredients we will never use in our products, visit the Formula First page to find our "Ingredients We Will Never Use" list.
What if a potentially harmful ingredient isn't on your no-no list?
We take great care and rigor in formulating super clean formulas, and we stay on the pulse of ingredient information to ensure our formulas continue to stay clean and safe. We are committed to revisting formulas regularly and will reformulate if necessary
What is the expected shelf life of your products?
All of our products have a Period After Opening symbol located on the exterior carton, which should be referenced for how long you should keep using that product after opening. All products range from 6 months to 12 months after opening.
Are your products organic?
We use organic ingredients where we can. Organic ingredients are marked with an astrisk in the ingredient listing of any given product.

Why did you switch from paper bottles to aluminum?
While we're proud of our revolutionary shower-friendly paper bottles, they did contain thin plastic liners, and recycling them was a bit more complex than our current packaging. Additionally, about 75% of all aluminum ever produced is still in circulation today, because it has a higher consumer recycling rate than plastic does, and it can be endlessly reprocessed and reformed without any major loss of metal quality!
Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes- 100%! All of our bottles and tubes are recyclable curbside. We utilize curbside-recyclable packaging materials as much as possible, while ensuring optimal functionality of our products. For packaging components requiring materials that are not recyclable curbside (pumps, flip-top caps, and sprayers) we've partnered with Pact on a mail-back recycling program.
How do I recycle my pumps, sprayers and flip-top caps?
Seed Phytonutrients has partnered with Pact Collective to create a free mail-back recycling program for our hard-to-recycle closures. Save up your pumps, sprayers, and flip-top caps and request a shipping label here. Because Pact is a nonprofit, they'll collect $5 to cover the cost of shipping. Don't worry— we want you guys recycling every piece of your Seed packaging, so we're immediately giving you this $5 back in the form of a gift card to our site. Plus, a surprise FREE GIFT will be added to your cart when you redeem it! It's our way of saying thanks on behalf of the planet. What type of shipping materials do you use?
We currently use post-consumer and FSC certified boxes and packing materials and we are always exploring alternatives to reduce our impact on the environment.
Do you offer refillable products or larger sizes?
At this time we do not sell refillable products. But we are working on it! We recommend simply recycling your components correctly using the Recycling Guide.

Can I get help with selecting the right products for me?

When will my order ship?
After payment is verified, it takes 2-3 business days to process and ship your order. This does not include weekends or holidays.
How much does shipping cost?
All orders will be charged for shipping at actual rates using our warehouse’s negotiated rates. Shipping costs are based upon size and weight of the order. Orders will ship via FedEx, and shipping speed can be selected at checkout (additional charges may apply). All orders above $50 get free shipping!
What payment types are accepted?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards and debit cards. We also accept Paypal and ShopPay. Credit card information entered in the site is secure and safe. All orders placed on this website are encrypted, thereby protecting any credit card information that is submitted at the time of the order.
Is sales tax applied to purchases?
Orders shipped to Texas and Pennsylvania will be subject to sales tax, applicable in accordance with the tax code of the state and city to which the order will be shipped. Tax is estimated at the time an order is placed and a final calculation of the actual sales tax will be reflected on your order confirmation e-mail and packing slip.
Where does Seed Phytonutrients ship?
At this time we are only shipping orders within the United States. We are working hard to expand in the near future! PO/APO orders will be shipped via SurePost and do not qualify for express shipping. Please anticipate a 4-6 week delivery window. Standard shipping charges apply.
Where can I purchase your products?
The entire Seed Phytonutrients line can be purchased online directly from our site. You can also use the Store Finder tool to find stores in your area where our products are carried.
How do I cancel or modify an order?
Orders are picked by our warehouse no later than 24 hours after an order is placed, so cancellation or change requests are determined on a case by case basis depending on where your order is in the fulfillment process. You can always email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like us to look into canceling or changing the order for you. We cannot guarantee that we'll be able to modify your order once it's been placed, but we'll do our very best!
How do I change the shipping address on my order?
Unfortunately, we cannot update the address on an order after it has been placed. Our team can attempt to cancel it, but please know we cannot guarantee order cancellations at this time.
In the event that your order is returned to us, we are happy to reship it or provide a refund. However, we cannot refund or replace orders that have been delivered to the address originally provided.

What do I do if my packaging is lost, damaged or stolen?
Customers can opt in to have orders covered by Route+ Package Protection at checkout. This protection cannot be added to an order after it has been submitted.
Route+ Premium Protection ensures that your package is protected in the case that it is lost, damaged, or stolen. This means that Route will replace your lost, damaged, or stolen package in most cases, or alternatively refund you if the items lost, damaged, or stolen are now out of stock. File a claim directly with Route at claims.route.com.
What does Route+ Premium Protection not cover?

What is your return policy?
Your happiness is our highest priority. If you are dissatisfied with your Seed Phytonutrients product for any reason, you may return it for a refund within 30 days of purchase. Returns outside of the 30 day return window will not be honored.
We are unable to offer refunds for excessively used products, or products that have been altered / tampered with in any way.
Please fill out a Contact Us form (select “Returns” for the subject line) to request more details and processing instructions.
Seed Phytonutrients products purchased in all other locations must be returned to their original point of purchase.
Products or sets listed as final sale are ineligible for returns or refunds.
Where can I return products not purchased from the Seed Phytonutrients website?

We are only able to issue returns and refunds for products purchased on seedphytonutrients.com.
What does the refund cover?
Our refunds cover the amount paid for the product(s) being returned, after any discounts / promotions applied.
We do not refund shipping or cover the cost of return shipping.
What is the process to complete a return?
Start by filling out a Contact Us form. Select “Returns” from the dropdown menu for subject and enter your order # in the order field. In the body of the message, please provide which item(s) are being returned and the reason for a return.
A Seed Phytonutrients team member will respond back within 1-2 business days. Additional information may be requested to determine eligibility and grant your refund.
If deemed eligible, to receive your refund we ask that you mail your returned product(s) to:

How do you process returns for products in sets?

How do I earn Seed points?
You can earn points within the 'ways to earn' section of your loyalty panel. The social media (Like on Facebook, Follow on Instagram, etc) and birthday earning actions need to be taken by clicking directly on the panel. Points for creating an account (sign up), placing an order, and/or writing a product review will be immediately credited to your account provided that you are logged in and using the same email address as your store's account.
Do my Seed points expire?
Yes, points will expire a year from the day they were added to your account. Unfortunately, once they expire they cannot be added back to your account.
Can I undo a reward redemption?
When you redeem a reward, you are exchanging your points for the reward. You may have accidentally redeemed a reward, or you may want to save your points for a larger discount. In this case, please reach out to us via the Contact Us form and we will try our best to refund the points depending on the status of the redemption and order.
How do I spend Seed points?
You can spend points under the 'ways to redeem' section of your loyalty panel. Here you will find the amount of points that are required to claim/get a reward/discount. Please make sure that you are logged into the rewards panel before redeeming your points.
Once you have enough available points, you can simply select 'Redeem' - again within the panel; click 'Apply code' forthe discount to be automatically applied at checkout. Once you redeem a reward, it will appear under 'Your Rewards'. It's worth noting that only one reward is allowed per order.
How do I apply a previously redeemed reward?
When you redeem a reward, your points are immediately exchanged for the reward. But, you do not need to use the reward immediately. If you choose not to use the reward, it will be saved in your panel under Your rewards.
To use a previously redeemed reward, login to your account. Then click Your rewards and select the reward you want to use. Copy and paste the discount code at checkout, or click the Apply code button to apply it to the cart immediately.
How do I refer a friend?
Through the loyalty panel, you can share your referral link via Facebook, Twitter and/or email directly a friend. You can also share it by copying and pasting the referral link in other social media platforms, SMS, WhatsApp, etc.
Once your friend clicks on the referral link, they will be redirected to the store's page; where they'll have to enter their email address in a prompt to get their reward/discount code via e-mail. Your friend will need to manually copy and paste the code for it to be applied at checkout.
When your friend makes a purchase with the reward/discount code; that's when the referral is considered completed. Only then you will receive an email notifying you that your friend has made a purchase with your reward/discount code, which you can find by logging into the store, clicking on the panel > Your rewards.
Why isn't my reward working at checkout?
Currently you can only use one coupon at checkout. Using multiple coupons is not permitted. But, you can use a coupon with a gift card at checkout.
Using Rewards with Discounted Products
If the checkout rejects your coupon with a sale item, reach out to us using the Contact Us form so we can help you troubleshoot.
How do I earn birthday points?
You will need to log into Seed Phytonutrients website to enter your birthday date in the loyalty panel under the 'ways to earn' section. This cannot be added by Seed Phytonutrient's customer support. Once that's entered, you will be rewarded with points on your next birthday.
Note: In case, you enter the wrong date, you can click 'Edit date' again in the panel to enter the correct one. You won't be rewarded on your birthday this year if you enter a date that is in the next 30 days. You will be rewarded the following year on that date.

Our subscription program allows customers to get the products they love delivered to you on a regular schedule. By subscribing, you can enjoy a range of benefits and ensure a seamless experience such as 10% off every subscription order.
You have total control over your subscription when it comes to adding or removing products. You can also delay or cancel your subscription before your next ship date. Make sure you’re signed up for email notifications so you don't miss reminder emails. You can also access your subscriptions in your Account at anytime.
By placing a subscription order, you are authorizing Seed Phytonutrients to charge your card for future orders at the frequency and quantity you selected.
How do I modify or adjust my subscription?
When you create your first subscription, an account will automatically be created with the email you used at checkout. You can update your subscription details by logging into your Seed Phytonutrients account, and selecting 'subscriptions.' Simply select the subscription you would like to edit, and scroll through the page to choose 'modify' or 'cancel subscription.' Not ready to cancel? You can delay your order before your next shipment date.
Can I set up a subscription for all products offered on seedphytonutrients.com?
No, sets and bundles are excluded from subscriptions.
Are subscriptions eligible for promos and sales?
Sitewide promotions will have subscription exclusions included in the terms and conditions. This is because your auto-renewal already has a solid offer of 10% off on every order.
